അമ്മ

സുനാമിയില്‍ ആയിരങ്ങള്‍ മരണപെട്ടു ,
ആയിരങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വീട് നഷ്ടപെട്ടു...
നാശനഷ്ടങ്ങളുടെ കണക്കുപുസ്തകം അവരുടെ സ്വപങ്ങളെ ഭാവിയുടെ ഇടനാഴികകളില്‍ എവിടെയോ ഒളിപിച്ചു വെച്ചു
പുതിയതായി പണി കഴിഞ്ഞ വിദേശ മണ്ണിലെ സൌധത്തില്‍ അമ്മ തേങ്ങി കരഞ്ഞു
മഴയുടെ ദൌര്‍ലബ്യം കാരണം കൊടുംചൂടിന്റെയും ജലക്ഷാമാതിന്റ്റെയും ദുരിതങ്ങളില്‍
ദിക്കറിയാതെ നിന്നവരെ ഓര്‍ത്ത്
ac യുടെ സ്വയം കാലാവസ്ഥ
നിയന്ത്രണ സംവിധാനതിന്റ്റെ കുളിര്‍മയുള്ള
തണുപ്പില്‍ അമ്മ ഹൃദയം പൊട്ടി കരഞ്ഞു
സോമാലിയയിലെ ഭക്ഷണം കിട്ടാതെ മരിക്കുന്ന കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ കുറിച്ചോര്‍ത്തു അമ്മ നെഞ്ച് പൊട്ടി കരഞ്ഞു
എന്ന് മാത്രമല്ല അന്ന് രാത്രി ഭക്ഷണം പോലും കഴിച്ചില്ല
(ആ ആഴ്ച രാത്രി അമ്മ പഴച്ചാറു മാത്രമേ കുടിചുള്ളൂ..)
